Hear a Rare Flaming Lips Demo from 1983

As Tom Breihan explains at Stereogum, Wayne Coyne recently visited "some of our nation’s finer vinyl emporiums" and sold "some curios from his band’s past," including a 1983 recording called 2nd Cassette Demo. 1983 was the year the band formed, and, at the time, as you’ll hear, they were a straight-up Oklahoma punk band.
