As Tom Breihan explains at Stereogum, Wayne Coyne recently visited “some of our nation’s finer vinyl emporiums” and sold “some curios from his band’s past,” including a 1983 recording called 2nd Cassette Demo. 1983 was the year the band formed, and, at the time, as you’ll hear, they were a straight-up Oklahoma punk band.
