Dragons have taken many forms in the movies, from the benign (Falkor in The Neverending Story) to the terrifying (Maleficent in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty). Leigh Singer’s fun, well-edited video essay explores their long, weird cinematic history in time for the latest example, the box-office dominating Smaug.
