For fans of Jim Henson, who would have turned 77 on Tuesday, this week has been a pretty rewarding one. A couple days ago, Jimmy Fallon and a few special Sesame Street cast members joined The Roots in a cute rendition of the children’s show’s theme song. And now, mashup extraordinaire Pogo—who has created such musical and visual feasts incorporating Mary Poppins and Monsters, Inc.—has taken Sesame Street and made an equally lush video compilation.
“Muppet Mash” is composed primarily of clips from the show’s earlier years, so viewers of a certain age can relive some of their favorite Sesame Street moments in a new, imaginative way. Enjoy.
