The Music of Things Not Working

You know the cliché: A movie or TV character can’t get something to work, so he or she gives it a good whack. Voilà! It works. The great website TV Tropes calls this “percussive maintenance.” Duncan Robson saw the musical possibilities evident in that term, and Joel Robson provided the score for the supercut that resulted.
