This Elton John Mashup Is Surprisingly Touching

Elton John's lovely ballad "Your Song" has stood the test of time, garnering numerous covers since it was released on the singer's self-titled second album in 1970. But nothing quite compares to hearing the tune from the man himself, and this great mashup, which edits together a smooth rendition of the song as performed by John over more than 40 years, is a treat for fans (as is a surprising, funny moment that comes just before the 3:00 mark).

The video was uploaded to little fanfare by YouTube user 35jeydee last October, but was posted to Reddit earlier this week and started making the wider rounds online this morning. Enjoy the song once again, and marvel at the man's many amazing feats of sartorial display.
