James Gandolfini left us too soon, but not without leaving us more performances to savor. First up Gandolfini will star in Enough Said, the latest movie from Nicole Holofcener. The trailer just went up this afternoon, and it looks great.

Gandolfini stars opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Holofcener regular Catherine Keener, who also starred in the writer-director’s Friends With Money, Please Give, Lovely & Amazing, and Walking and Talking. While Gandolfini didn’t often star in romantic comedies, the role seems like a good one for him: He plays a character that, as was often said of the star, people find unexpectedly attractive.

Enough Said is set to come out next month, on Sept. 20, but it won’t be the last we see from the actor. Gandolfini’s final film will be the Dennis Lehane-penned Animal Rescue, starring Tom Hardy, set to come out next year. It’s a crime movie, so I’m guessing Gandolfini had a good handle on the material.
