This Mary Poppins Remix Is Amazing

You may not know electronic music artist Nick Bertke, aka Pogo, by name, but there’s a good chance you’ve heard his work before. (And if you haven’t, you should definitely check it out now.) Over the last few years, Bertke has become Internet famous for his intricate musical remixes of Disney movies (and a few other favorites as well), taking the many sounds and bits of dialogue from a particular film and blending them into an audibly adventurous creation of his own.

His newest track, an upbeat ditty called “What I Likes,” incorporates Dick Van Dyke’s notoriously awful faux-Cockney accent—and sundry other sounds from Mary Poppins—into an impressively complex tune. After you give this one a listen, you may want to check out his great, more mellow “Expialidocious” from a few years back.
