A Brilliant Job Application Gambit That Failed

Two years ago, Christopher Woodring applied for a job as a post-production assistant at DreamWorks. Worried that his application would not be noticed, he sent in the video below.

As the credits at the end make clear, he did not get the job. Was he really banned from ever working at the company? Well, Woodring explained on Reddit that he was “given a slap on the wrist over the phone,” and someone at his college was told he would “never get a job there after that.”
