Over the last several months, the Rolling Stones have played with Bruce Springsteen and Mary J. Blige, among other special guests. Over the weekend, their impressive list of sit-ins got even longer when past Keith Richards collaborator Tom Waits came onstage in Oakland to sing “Little Red Rooster,” the blues classic made famous by Howlin’ Wolf.
