Lil Wayne Is Back And “More Than Good”

It’s been a scary and confusing week for Lil Wayne fans. Last Friday night TMZ reported that he was in critical condition in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after more seizures. At one point the gossip site even reported that he was receiving his last rites, before walking back that part of the story. When a Tweet issued from his account later that night insisted “I’m good,” it was retweeted over 190,000 times—though it later became unclear whether it was Weezy that sent the tweet at all.

Now Wayne is back and reassuring fans he’s “more than good.” In a candid video message released today, he clears up some of the confusion, thanks fans for their concern, and also confirms that he’s healthy enough to still know how to plug an upcoming album and tour.

He also dropped the new video for his 2 Chainz-featuring “R.A.F” (“Rich as Fuck”), which has the rapper sounding more vibrant than he has in years. You can watch that video over at MTV.
