Last night, Will Ferrell pretended to be/actually worked as a security guard at the Staples Center. Why? You may as well ask, “Why advertise Old Milwaukee beer in Sweden?” The answer is probably that Will Ferrell thought it would be fun. (He seems to have enjoyed escorting Shaq from his seat. And I suspect he also enjoyed giving his pretend security guard character a really silly name.)
He also recently filmed an endorsement video for Los Angeles mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti. And it is as goofy as you’d expect. Will Ferrell: having more fun than the rest of us.
