On the heels of the surprise announcement that the ladies of Destiny’s Child had reunited in the studio for the first time in eight years, and the even better news that members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland would be joining Beyonce on stage during her halftime Super Bowl performance, comes a brand new song from the trio, “Nuclear.”
The song is a mid-tempo track that feels both old and new at once, reminiscent of early ’90s dance music (Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s “It Takes Two” comes to mind), mixed with the lush harmonies we’ve come to expect from the ladies.
