“If you’re having bank problems, I feel bad for you son / I got 99 problems, but Mitt’s not one.” So goes the chorus to this latest remix of the Jay-Z hit “99 Problems.” But this isn’t quite the straightforwardly pro-Obama supercut it might at first appear to be. “Now I’m not trying to fight J.P. Morgan Chase,” remixed Obama says. “Got their campaign dollars so I can win the race.”
The lyrics then take an explicit turn (not for the first time), so you’ll have to press play to hear where it goes from there. But just to give you a sense: It ends by contrasting Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech with Obama’s use of drone strikes. It’s catchy, though.
