Did You See This? TV’s Year of Kick-Ass Women

As the latest Emmy nominations recently demonstrated, the last 12 months have been pretty good ones for women on TV. In addition to all the new women-led comedies, there’s been a rise of female spies on TV, and even an uptick in bisexual women characters.

All of which is nicely captured on the Flavorwire supercut below, titled “TV’s Year of Kick-Ass Women.” It opens, fittingly, with Leslie Knope, and features Carrie Mathison, Liz Lemon, Joan Holloway, and many more. It's scored to "Believe in Magic," by Jim Jones (ft. Lloyd and Girl Talk). Enjoy.
