Ever wondered what it would be like to have a conversation with the 12-year-old you? It’s that curiosity that drives this brilliantly done short film, in which 32-year-old YouTube filmmaker Jeremiah McDonald has a sarcastic tiff with the Jeremiah McDonald of the year 1992.
It’s a concept as old as science fiction and Back to the Future, but the clever editing and McDonald’s deadpan delivery make it fresh. How does their talk play out? Just as with your own future, it may be that the less you know the better:
