This is not a tremendously surprising pairing, given that Pearl Jam has been doing one of the better versions of "I Won't Back Down" for at least a decade. Still, it's pretty fun to see Petty and Vedder on stage together, and they chose two awfully good songs to perform: "The Waiting" and "American Girl."
Also, is it just me or is Vedder doing a bit of a Petty impersonation in the first of these?
