Watch a Gorgeous Short Film of the Holi Festival of Colors

Holi, also called the Festival of Colors, is a Hindu festival that happens each spring, and marks the triumph of good over evil. The annual celebration involves splashing one’s fellows with dye and colored water, and leads to some remarkable images.

This year’s festival took place last month, and a production company called Variable sent filmmakers to India to capture its observance. The result: the spectacular two-minute short below, co-directed by Jonathan Bregel and Khalid Mohtaseb. Enjoy.
