Mad Men Gets Adbusted by a Whale

While for some the Mad Men poster for season 5 conjures up darker memories, we’re happy that at least one graffiti artist had a decidedly sunnier interpretation:
Friend of Slate Jason Feifer spotted this informal redesign in a New York City subway station last night, and we asked his permission to use the photo. He added in an email, “As I took it, a girl walked by and said, ‘Isn't that the best subway graffiti ever?’ And it is.”
It looks like Jason wasn’t the only one to spot a graffitied poster. NYC blog Gothamist noticed a couple other examples scattered around the NYC subway, and has asked readers to submit photoshopped versions of their own. While Brow Beat does not endorse vandalism, we couldn't help but admire the vision of this freelance Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce designer. Perhaps we're just giddy for the season to begin already.
