Still from "Wes Anderson From Above"

As I explored in detail a couple weeks ago in my Slate slideshow, Wes Anderson has certain tics that he returns to again and again. One of the director’s most striking signatures is his frequent use of overhead shots, often of books, busy desk tops, and hands.

Here Vimeo user kogonada has assembled a supercut of what appears to be every overhead shot of hands that appears in Wes Anderson’s movies—from Bottle Rocket all the way through the trailer for Moonrise Kingdom.

Of course, the real hand on display is Anderson’s.
