Deadline.com has just reported that Cary Elwes will be joining Friday Night Lights ’ Adrianne Palicki on NBC’s new Wonder Woman reboot . Elwes, of course, is better known to women in our 30s as The Princess Bride ‘s Westley — a.k.a. Farm Boy, a.k.a. the handsomest, charmingest man who’s ever rocked a Zorro mask .
So imagine my dismay when I learned that this is what’s become of the Dread Pirate Roberts these days:

Yet another of my preteen fantasy boyfriends consigned to the Dave Foley carb-face dustbin . What a cruel Friday.
