What Should Slate Read Next?

On Thursday, Jan. 27, Slate will be posting its Audio Book Club podcast on Amy Chua's controversial firestarter, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother . The participants will be Ann Hulbert, Hanna Rosin, and yours truly. (Here's Ann's review of the book , Hanna's essay on it in the Wall Street Journal , and my assessment of the Asian-American angle .)

For the February discussion, we're throwing it out to you: What book should Slate 's Audio Book Club ponder and dissect next?

You can choose from among the following: Room , by Emma Donoghue;  The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet , by David Mitchell;  Foreign Bodies , by Cynthia Ozick; Life , by Keith Richards;  Cleopatra , by Stacy Schiff.

Voting ends this Friday at 11:59 p.m. ET, so make your selections now!
