The winners of the Florida Citizens for Science “Stick Science” contest have been announced! This was a contest for people to boil down issues in the public misunderstanding of science into a stick figure cartoon. I was a judge, along with Genie Scott, Carl Zimmer, and Kate Miller.
My congratulations to Richard Korzekwa, Benjamin Tichy, and Brooke Lundquist for their winning entries.
And speaking of contests, don’t forget the Capture the Universe astrophotography contest, which runs through the end of the month of June.
