Phileidolia

How did I miss this? A little ago I posted about a Worth1000 contest to create pareidolia (which is an oxymoronic experiment, I'll add -- if it's on purpose, it ain't pareidolia).

Phil Plait Phil Plait

Phil Plait writes Slate’s Bad Astronomy blog and is an astronomer, public speaker, science evangelizer, and author of Death From the Skies!

This picture was in the contest, and I remember it-- I glanced at it and moved on. Silly.

I have to admit, that does look just like me. Reddish beard, cap, narrow glasses, rugged good looks, the spark of incredible intelligence, mouth open to complain about some dumb thing... yup. Dead ringer.

I guess this makes me a rock star. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tip o' my SpaceX baseball cap to OrbitingFrog for pointing this out! Turns out in the comments of the original post, Navneeth saw it too.
