My sister sent me notice that at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster will be given some consideration. The article linked states that it’s simply to study the meaning of what it is to be a religion, but actually I suspect it will actually be a covert attempt to suppress the one true truth.
