Timothy Stewart-Winter

Timothy Stewart-Winter is associate professor of history at Rutgers University-Newark and the author of Queer Clout: Chicago and the Rise of Gay Politics (2016). He is co-director of the Queer Newark Oral History Project. His new research projects focus on the 1964 Walter Jenkins gay sex scandal and the politics of HIV/AIDS in the U.S.
