Netherlands soccer great Johan Cruyff died of cancer on Thursday. He was 68 years old. Cruyff—who starred at European clubs Ajax and Barcelona—was a three-time European Footballer of the Year, and led Netherlands to a World Cup final appearance in 1974.

His death has hit the global soccer community hard, as many fans are left mourning a man whose revolutionary style changed the game itself.
