Fly in Style

Swiss Air Lines releases the dreamy interiors for its new 777 jets.

Flyers around the world promptly lost it after a French company patented schematics for an airplane seating arrangement so tight that passengers were simultaneously touching and facing each other. As if to tell us everything is going to be OK, London-based design company Priestmangoode has released a new video render of the interior for Swiss Air Lines’ Boeing 777 cabins. Behold:

In addition to looking lovely, the new design is marvelously high tech. In first and business classes, the window blinds are electronically controlled and the seating firmness is adjustable. All passengers will have access to a self-service snack bar between meal service and a wireless connection.

Nine of the new wide-body planes will be added to Swiss’ long-haul rotation in January 2016, servicing routes between Switzerland and Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Bangkok, San Francisco, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, New York, and Montreal.
