Kegger at Mrs. Rudd’s House!

The Royals are going to the World Series. Paul Rudd has ideas for a celebration.

Paul Rudd grew up near Kansas City, Missouri, so like many natives, the future Ant-Man has endured some lean baseball years. It should come as no surprise, then, that Rudd was in the house at Kauffman Stadium Wednesday night to watch his Royals sweep the Baltimore Orioles, punching their ticket to the World Series for the first time in 29 years.

Talking to a KMBC 9 News reporter on the field after the game, Rudd was especially giddy while talking about his home team’s magical (and thus far undefeated) run through the playoffs. “This is amazing. The entire town feels it,” he said. And then, in a real-life Apatowian moment, he announced his plans for celebrating the W: “Party at my mom’s, man! She’s out of town. I got a keg. It’s gonna be sweet! $5 cover.”

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that Eric Hosmer got in for free. Watch the video above to see Rudd in all his Royals fandom glory.
