Can celebrities really win lawsuits over unflattering portrayals of themselves?

"Lacey Jonas" tears into several scenes in Grand Theft Auto V, dodging paparazzi and crassly detailing the perils of fame. Despite the less-than-flattering portrayal, Lindsay Lohan is convinced the character is her, filing a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on her 28th birthday demanding damages for use of her likeness. But she is unlikely to find friendly treatment from the court.
