Who Is the Man Hiding in Picasso’s Blue Room?

He doesn’t appear to be the painter himself.


Painted in 1901, The Blue Room is considered one of Picasso's first masterpieces. But a conservator in the 1950s first noted odd brushstrokes that didn't seem to match the rest of the composition.
