NASA’s amazing views of an asteroid that cruised near Earth.

Earlier this month, 2014 HQ124 glided about 776,000 miles from Earth, or about three times the distance between our planet and the moon. It still got close enough for Earth-based radar to take some incredible shots of its surface.
