Japanese robotics company Activelink—a subsidiary of Panasonic—has developed a new robotic exoskeleton that is sure to please fans of James Cameron and Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley. Taking inspiration from the exosuit from Aliens, the PowerLoader Light, or “Ninja,” is designed for carrying heavy objects and can lift three times its own weight.
