A skeleton in the submerged caves of the Yucatan is getting us closer to an answer.

New research published in Science and based on the 2007 discovery of a genetically intact skeleton in the submerged caves of the Yucatan may hold an answer to an enduring mystery about the earliest settlers of the Americas.
