The Maine lobster population is in the midst of a steady decline.

Here's a fact that should strike fear in the hearts of seafood lovers everywhere: Maine's lobster population is apparently in the midst of a steady decline. A University of Maine study tells us that the number of baby lobsters has shrunk by more than 50 percent since 2007.
