Are glow-in-the-dark roads coming to a freeway near you?

For a 500-meter stretch of N329 highway in the Netherlands, the road now glows in the dark, creating a beautiful dreamscape that makes faulty streetlights obsolete. Future growth for the project depends on outcomes of safety trials.
