In the journal Plos One, scientists report that an 11-foot-long , 500-pound oddity was a kind of oviraptorosaur, two-legged dinosaurs that stalked North America and Central Asia.
The creatures had beaks, skinny legs, giant feet, and likely feathered arms, resembling a modern bird—or more particularly a giant, deranged chicken.
