The Moon’s Real Age

An incredible new way to look at our lunar satellite’s early years.

A new study published in Nature dates our planet’s satellite sidekick at 4.47 billion years of age, 60 million years younger than believed, and it offered new insight into the early relationship between the Earth and the moon.
