According to sources close to the situation, upon hearing LeBron James had opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat—making him a free agent, again—Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert burst out of his office and called for the keys to his car. “This is my dare to be great situation,” he was heard muttering, along with something about his heart and a pen, as he hightailed it out of the Cavs’ facility.
