Police and moviemakers have had nearly 60 years to figure out the mystery of Los Angeles' infamous "Black Dahlia" murder. Amazingly, the Brian De Palma film about the murder, which opened last Friday, seems as confused as the cops who first discovered Elizabeth Short's mutilated body in a field in 1947.
