Next, Aisha Harris joins Stephen and Dana to discuss 13^th, the new Netflix documentary from Ava DuVernay about the United States’ criminal justice system. The documentary chronicles how the Thirteenth Amendment led to mass incarceration in the U.S., examining the link between slavery and today’s prison-industrial complex. Last, the critics are joined by Slate technology writer Will Oremus to break down the death of Vine. Were its six-second loops ready to die?
