Slate V, the video and podcasting arm of Slate, is in the market for an associate producer to help with development, production, publishing, and social media outreach for video and audio offerings on Slate. This is a wide-ranging multimedia position with responsibilities from shooting and editing to publishing and promoting video and audio podcasts on Slate and other platforms. The job is a full-time contract position (competitive salary, no benefits) based in either New York or Washington, D.C. Applicants should be college graduates with professional experience or academic training in video and audio production and Web journalism as well as an in-depth familiarity with social media platforms.
