Sarah Palin is back on social media, with a vengeance. Over the past week, she's tweeted with increased frequency, and mostly to criticize President Obama—against whom, of course, the 2012 GOP nominee would be running in the general election. Last evening, she posted to Facebook a detailed critique of how Obama's energy policy has led to higher prices at the gas pump: "Let's not forget that in September 2008, candidate Obama's Energy Secretary in-waiting said: 'Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.' That's one campaign promise they're working hard to fulfill!"

It's the gauntlet-throwing sign-off to the post, though, that officially bumps the Palin meter into "likely" territory—all the way up to 55 percent: "2012 can't come soon enough. --Sarah Palin." Even if she's trying to drag out her lucrative Fox contract as far into 2011 as she can.
