An ongoing series on the occupational travails of the Treasury secretary

Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill bruised a rib while playing football with his grandchildren on Thanksgiving Day, necessitating a trip to Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday for X-rays. There was no apparent market response.
