Chatterbox has a new ambition in life. If he is ever called before a grand jury, he hopes to be so commanding and so charming that when he is done, the foreperson will say to him what the foreperson said to Vernon Jordan as he concluded his final Flytrap appearance on June 9 (according to the latest Flytrap document dump). To wit:
Foreperson: I want to say something and it’s really kind of a joke, and I know it’s going on the record, but if ever any of us need a job, can we feel free to come to you?
Jordan: Madam Forelady, my door swings back on welcome hinges to anybody in this grand jury.
Now that’s what Chatterbox calls foreplay.
