Hi Katha,
Well, it's 3:30 am, and I think it might be a good idea if you kicked off our caffeinated salon tomorrow. While you were dutifully fulfilling the onerous demands of motherhood, I was diligently performing the weekly homosexual task of watching South Park at my local gay bar over one too many Rolling Rocks. As a result, I have yet to hit the sack.
I wonder, by the way, if you let Sophie watch it. Much more subversive than a course in '60s nostalgia. Cartman (Eric), who is fast becoming the millennial, big-boned, 8-year-old Archie Bunker, recently expressed what I take to be the purest expression of bigotry I have yet heard on network television. "Go back to San Francisco with the rest of the Jews!" he yelled at no one in particular, with his usual aplomb. I think he was referring to both of us.
He's a work of evil genius.
