Graham and Wasserstein
Entry 15:
Hi Wendy:
I'm crazy about the scenario! As far as I'm concerned, Conroy is out and Wasserstein is in. I know it's early to talk about casting, but have you considered Betsy McCaughey Ross as Scarlett? Not only does she have the right edge for the part, but we can go to her husband, Wilbur, for financing. Plus, if you would consider Paula Jones for Belle Watling (not "Watkins," my dear), we might get Abe Hirschfeld to kick in a million orso. Is Jesse Ventura single?
xxxooo,
Stephen
Stephen Graham lives in New York City, where he is pursuing a doctorate in English literature. He is co-publisher of Ecco Press and a contributing editor at Grand Street. Wendy Wasserstein, a playwright, is author of An American Daughter, The Heidi Chronicles, The Sisters Rosensweig, and others.
