When a woman visited a hospital in eastern China complaining of dizziness and nausea, doctors performed routine scans. What they found startled them: The woman was completely missing her cerebellum, only the ninth known patient to live with her condition. A new study in Brain suggests her case is a remarkable example of neuroplasticity.
