Slate’s Hiring Freelance Video Editors!

We’re looking for producers to make our next viral video.

Slate is looking for energetic freelance video producers with unique voices on pop culture and the news. We’re after self-sufficient producers who can come up with clever concepts and turn them around quickly into videos that our readers want to share. You can riff on politics or sports or culture, but your ideas should be fun, original, and great fits for Slate. You’ll also need superior video-editing skills, your own hardware, and a healthy collaborative attitude.

If this is you, please send a very concise note to slatevideojob@gmail.com with some words about you, a couple links to your video work on the Web, and at least one great video idea that’s perfect for Slate. (No attachments!) Right now we’re looking to work with freelancers on a project-by-project basis.
