In a Dec. 27 Moneybox post, Matthew Yglesias misstated the name of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's political party. It's the Justice and Development Party, not the Justice and Welfare Party.

In a Dec. 26 Slatest, John Kruzel misstated the qualifications for charging someone with a racially motivated hate crime. The crime does not need to have affected interstate or foreign commerce, or occurred on federal property.

In a Dec. 26 Vault post, Rebecca Onion misspelled Edgar Allan Poe's middle name.

In a Dec. 24 Drink, Kara Newman misstated Wild Turkey American Honey a recent arrival. It was originally created in 1986 and then relaunched in 2006.

In a Dec. 23 Bad Astronomy post, Phil Plait misstated when the photo of "long shadows over the Earth" was taken. It was from July 4, 2013, not 2103.

In a Dec. 12 Movies, Dana Stevens wrote that Abscam was not mentioned by name in the film American Hustle. It was, briefly. The actor Michael Peña was also misidentified as Richard Peña.

In an Aug. 14 Gentleman Scholar, Troy Patterson misstated the release date of Ween's album The Mollusk. It was released in 1997, not 2001.
