In a May 11 “Brow Beat” post, Bill Wyman misspelled the name of director Brett Ratner. In addition, a reference to Bagel Bites incorrectly referred to the snacks as "Bagel Bits."

In a May 11 “Future Tense,” Konstantin Kakaes misspelled the first name of a woman working on one of DARPA’s machine translation projects. She is Rachael, not Rachel.

In a May 10 "Movies," Dana Stevens stated that Johnny Depp would have been 9 when Dark Shadows' original run ended. Depp would have been 7.

In a May 10 "Slatest" post, Rachael Levy misstated the year the No Child Left Behind Act became law as 1992. President George W. Bush signed the legislation in 2002.

In a May 8 “XX Factor” blog post, John Plotz misquoted W.H. Auden. Auden wrote that the poetry of Yeats “survives/ In the valley of its making,” not “in valley of its own making.”

Because of a photo-provider error, an image caption in the May 7 "Moneybox" misspelled the last name of the Beastie Boys' Adam Horovitz.
